Is there someone you think we should interview?
Send us your suggestions via a note to the main account and we’ll see what we can do!
Now, onto Submissions!
If you need a little refresher course in who we are and what we’re about, just pop on over to our , release article and check out the gory details.
But, here are the submission protocols, if that’s all you’re after, tried, tested and ready to go again!
The process in point form :
Submit pieces in the form of a note to the *Trashrock account.
You will be notified if your piece is within the cut off. You will also be contacted if it is not, thanking you for your time and encouraging you to try again or test your luck in the wild card critiques of the chat.
Those that are accepted will be allocated a Critic. That person has a month of my notification to produce a critique in the style that suits their talents. Each critic is different in their focus, using different tones and identifying diverging elements.
The critic will then post their critique on the writer’s deviation in the form of comment.
A CALL OUT TO ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS AND VA’S!
We at *Trashrock need some cover pieces for TheLitRockReview! If you’re keen, please note `poprocksandcharlotte with your interest and a few pieces from your gallery that you think are particularly awesome. If you are selected, you will be notified and your art will be credited on the very page it appears on, underneath the title and the date of submission, not some dark corner where nobody can see it!

On your application form answer the following questions:
Name:
Age:

Trashrock - Reloaded in August 09
:poke:I am supposing that you, our watchers, have noticed our inactivity and the process of critique fall by the wayside.
There are many reasons for this, so I shall list them in an organised fashion:
:fella: The general upheaval of circumstances surrounding both poprocksandcharlotte (https://www.deviantart.com/poprocksandcharlotte) and fllnthblnk (https://www.deviantart.com/fllnthblnk). Unfortunately, we are not robots quite yet and do have unpredictable lives to contend with, because of this, dA can fall by the wayside.
:fella: A hiatus that was never actually broken.
:fella: A lack of time to commit to TR fully and completely, considering our plans for development in VA. Luckily, time has become something a littl
So it's been a long time...BUT THE RESULTS ARE IN!
Firstly, Trashrock (https://www.deviantart.com/trashrock) would like to apologise for the conclusive delay. There are many reasons that this has occurred and while most of them are colourful and full of fire, it would take too long and it might bore you, if I were to go into it.
With that said, lets roll onto the results, shall we?
Poetry
A poetry critic is forthright, informative and conscious of the level of their audience and the concepts/ devices eschewed by the conventions that rule the several genres out there. They do not pander to their audience, nor are they unnecessarily brash and elitist. They just get it done, so to speak.

Let's Rock a Chatroom!
So youve heard about the organisation, now the people behind
Trashrock (https://www.deviantart.com/trashrock) are launching their own chatroom to better service your needs.
:bulletblack: Are you tired of private chat bureaucracy and vapid ego stroking elitism?
:bulletwhite: Do you want literary Q&As and constant (solid) critique in an open floor forum by a numerable amount of professionals and amateurs alike, concentrating solely on your work? Would you like to develop your own critiquing skills?
:bulletblack:Do you want to learn? And do you want to have fun while you learn?
:bulletwhite: Do you want a sense of community, to make friends and to develop as a w
Trashrock call for Feb/March Submissions!!!
:explosion:Trashrock open for business in 2009!:explosion:
Things have changed since we first opened our critiquing doors to the wider dA community. The LitRock Review is continually being developed into a dynamic publication (slowly), submission rates have risen, staff has altered and still, youre all here.
Just to refresh your memory of who we are and what were about, here is a short recap of what TR is:
:katana:What is Trashrock? :katana:
Good question and an important one. TR is not special, it is not simply fantastic and not really doing anything that is innovative or hasnt been done before. With that said, TR is c
